Congratulations To Three Bridges Under 11’s

Three Bridges Under 11’s in their home kits sponsored by RS Motorcycle Training.

With the 2022/2023 season coming to an end for the Three Bridges Under 11’s team, we wanted to say a massive congratulations to all the team and their coaches.

Along with our co-sponsors, RS Motorcycle Training (Home Kits) and Deep Social (Training Kits), we have been continually impressed by the teams resilience and development throughout the season as they played across both the Horsham League on Saturdays and the Mid-Sussex League on Sundays. Highlights have included some impressive wins against excellent opponents and fightbacks for well earned draws in difficult circumstances. Even when they have lost, the team have at times shown great determination and continued to keep their parents proud on the side lines. We have enjoyed some excellent goalkeeping performances, organised defending and excellent attack play with two of their players, with the support of the rest of the team, notching up over 30 goals between them. A number of players throughout the squad have received well deserved Player of the Match nominations and awards across the season.

Three Bridges Under 11’s Coach Karl Mitchell said of the season:

The boys had a great season considering this is our first out on grass. Some have really excelled in terms of fitness and physical strength; others their tactical and technical ability has improved, a few have started maturing and have started to learn how to deal with different emotions before, during and after the game; most have socially started coming out of their shells. It is our job as coaches to develop and coach the boys/girls through these four corners to help them not just improve as footballers but also how to deal with other aspects of their lives. We know everyone develops differently; some have excelled in all four corners. I am really looking forward to the next season where the game becomes competitive for the first season, we will be working with the boys over the summer to prepare them for the season ahead, but the biggest challenge will be that they will now be fighting for their place in the team, as we now need to pick the most competitive team for the games with the objective to win games. Thank you from the players and I to the coaches, parents, sponsors, and club for all their support this season.

We at Resolve, are certainly proud to continue our association with Three Bridges Under 11’s and look forward to the start of the new season (but not before a well earned rest over the summer!).
