Six of the Resolve Financial Solutions team took part in the Thames Path Challenge on Saturday 10th September raising over £700 for St Catherine’s Hospice.
We signed up to walk 22km of the Thames Path Challenge from Hurst Park in West Molesey to Runnymede Pleasure Ground. The walk along the Thames towpath took us past Walton-Upon-Thames, Shepperton, Chertsey, Staines and into Runnymede.
We were extremely lucky with the weather and were able to take in all the views along the towpath. We reminded ourselves at the beginning of the walk why we were doing the challenge and how the money that we were raising was going to help St Catherine’s Hospice.
Supporting the local communities that we work in is a key part of our business and raising funds for local charities is a key part of this. As a financial planning firm our job is to help people plan for the future and therefore supporting a charity which provides end of life care and support to individuals and families in the West Sussex and East Surrey areas seemed a perfect fit.
