Resolve Financial Solutions were approached by an existing customer who had been researching online various critical illness providers as she wanted to put in place a policy for her and her partner each as the COVID-19 pandemic had made them consider their protection provisions. They have two children so were particularly interested in Children’s Critical Illness as part of the plans as well as the value-added benefits that were available. She was confused by the various options she had found herself.
After an in depth 30-minute discussion around their needs, preferences and what they wanted from the cover, we made a recommendation for cover with a particular provider which although was not the cheapest would offer additional benefits and suitable critical illness cover.
The client agreed that this would provide them with greater value for money in their protection and also reassured them they were getting the right level of cover for themselves and their children.

* Please note: Critical Illness plans typically have no cash in value at any time and cover will cease at the end of the term. If premiums stop, then cover will lapse. Payments will generally not be accepted for claims arising from excluded conditions. Definitions of illnesses vary from product provider and will be explained within the policy documentation.
